We have finalised our home design and now we have to choose our colour scheme for the roof tiles, render colour, gutters, etc.
We have Merbau timber posts on the balconies as well as the feature windows around the front entry and the front door itself, so would like to come up with colours that work with these.
We were thinking of neutrals/white shades for the render (like Dulux "natural white" or similar) but think that something too 'crisp' will clash with the timber, or would we be better off going for something in the brown shades instead?
For the roof tiles we were thinking something in the medium to darker shades, to go with the render colour.
Gutters will probably match the roof tiles, with fascia's and down-pipes to match the render, but not sure about the aluminium door and window frames for the rest of the house. Should we have these matching the render colour like the fascia's and downpipes, a similar but noticably different colour to the render, or go for something with more of a contrast?
Any help, ideas or advice you can lend is greatly appreciated.
I have included our 'blank canvas' below as well as a completed house it is based on.
