Stillo haven't moved in yet....but we went with Dulux Natural White after all that...and boy am i glad i did :) It's such a nice white colour. I have a feature wall that has my TV and fireplace on it and i did that in Dulux Malay Grey which is like a dark grey colour...but rest of the house is all white

Hi annabelle630, Congratulations on designing your new kitchen! You mentioned Caesarstone Statuario Nuvo may be throwing off a deep white (almost blue) colour compared to Quantam Statuario. We have done all of the downstairs open plan area in Caspar white quarter. Skirts done in same colour in gloss with vivid white ceiling & cornice. We had a4 samples of 4 Dulux whites: Snowy Mountains 1/2, white exchange 1/2, white polar 1/4. Moved the samples to every room with hubby & wrote down which we preferred. Tried them in north and south rooms in day and night light. CW1/4 was hands down the favourite. It looks great - crisp & clean with no blue, we love it. Photos were taken at night. Hope this helps.

We are doing white as well, ended up going for Lexicon mid-strength after painting all three, quarter, mid and full in swatches on the wall in our daughters bedroom. Like bargainhunter says the mid throws a blue undertone, turns out my daughter who is 12 now 'hates' it, but it definitely changes in certain lights and it's subtle and I'm still happy we went with it. The warmer whites if they throw anything slightly yellow I don't like them, so I'd rather have a cool blue undertone than yellow, but it depends on what you like. We are actually going to change now to Lexicon quarter for the rest of the house after we paint our 9 year old sons room, and I'm sure we'll get the blue undertone in some rooms, but I'd rather that than yellow. Plus we have timber flooring so it's more likely to make the yellow undertone in a warm white more obvious. We went with vivid white for trims/doors. I honestly think where you live also plays a part. We're in Brisbane, and whilst it's winter and cool at the moment, the majority of the year it's a warm/hot climate so I think cooler colours can assist with that feeling you get of cooling you down or maybe that's wishful thinking lol, but if you are in a colder place I really think that perhaps using that warm white would be a better choice again mentally creating that feeling like you mentioned of warmth and cosiness.
