I've just bought a new house and the building reports mentions most of the (aluminium) windows and sliding doors are missing locks and aren't sliding well, advising I have locks fitted and runners replaced or adjusted. Indicative pricing was $5,000 which seemed crazy but I know they always go high in these reports.
Any ideas who I can ask to do this and what sort of money it's likely to cost? 3-4 bedroom home.
