Thanks for you opinion, Judy! I will ask colour selection consultant whether I can get the same colour of WIP door as joinery doors once I hear from the builder. It has been hard to reach them lately lol

Hi. Just want to say that in my opinion matt white is a good choice for the top cabinetry as opposed to glossy. I've had both and much prefer matt as it does not show the finger prints. I believe it is also a more modern look. I think mine is not quite matt, but has a slight sheen. Love the idea of the darker contrast, I think it will look smashing. Best wishes. sydneymidge

While looking at benchtop options, I mentioned to a supplier/kitchen designer that I had experienced problems with granite discolouring. He said that in his opinion, granite was the best choice for kitchen benchtops, but it MUST be a dark colour. My son has black granite with white cabinetry and it looks stunning. I have always preferred light benchtops, but I think I'll compromise, keeping cabinets light and benchtops dark.

Looking for advice of what the best dark colour (Matt finish) we could use for kitchen cabinets that would go well with a Black galaxy granite benchtop (black with bronze flakes through it). Thanks
