Wow, what a stunning façade design and what a great spot to be building. Your decision to consider COLORBOND® Woodland Grey for roofing, gutter and fascia is a great option. It is modern and grey but throws a warm base it blends beautifully into any natural surround. A mid grey render option is COLORBOND® Windspray which will also reflect the beachside setting of your block. White windows would work however COLORBOND® Surfmist is a more subtle way to get a light window colour without the starkness of a pure white. It also works beautifully with the grey tones of the COLORBOND® Windspray. I would also consider COLORBOND® Surfmist for the garage door to match the windows. Lastly I would tie the roofing colour back in by rendering the porch section in COLORBOND® Woodland Grey. Less colours is better for a façade so if we can use a colour for more than on application like windows and garage door, roof and porch render it looks more cohesive. We hope that helps. it's possible to have a tiled or steel roof painted and the product, if applied well, should last for many years and can be reapplied if necessary..like any painted surface...not aware of any other product except these roof paints but, if your roof is already 30 years old it's probably time to have it checked for any potential weaknesses ...what is the roof made out of?

Look at bigreaders photo -- I personally think the 'clean' tiles look great -- the colorbond not so great . BUT what you also note is that the part facing the street appears to all be tiled . A good roofer will keep the newer tiles out of sight -- you may even be able to get 'speckled' tiles that make it less obvious , or even get an airbrush artist or even enthusiastic art students to add a bit of charcoal and dark green on them . The white window frames and white gutters , in fact your whole house , looks 'clean' -- the tiles have some character , but even 100% new tiles wont look too out of place IMO , and changing to a shale or similar colouring would emphasis that your place is looked after IMO .

Whilst the 'wifes inspiration photo' looks lovely , there are several features that aren't included in your place , so your place will not look 'similar' , and may very well look 'try-hard' . Assuming the roof is in good servicable condition , I'd simply paint the veranda and garage roofs in a fresh terracota orange , do the fences in charcoal , do a garden down the left side of the driveway , 4 to 6 standard roses down the right side and around across the front . The front door looks okay in white , but it makes the terrace there look bare -- add a table and chairs , but also I must ask -- if the inspiration pic has a black gloss door and surrounds , wouldn't you have done that in the black ? And to really embrace the era , why not do a garage tilt door with those 'picture frame' things , and do them the gloss black ( or white if you are keeping the main entrance door white ) . Nice , pleasant , updated version of what you have now . If you do sell , you'll easily gain 20% or more for very little cost , anything more is big $$$ and may not add much .
