To re-roof and re-clad or not?

Hi

Am considering removing old stucco render cladding and replacing with weatherboard on 1930's house due to stucco being nearly 95 years old and breaking down and requiring significant repair. No builders want to guarantee patching and rendering over old stucco i.e. that it would stay sound.

Also considering updating roof to Zincalume or Colourbond to transform street appeal and fit with accompanying homes which are primarily Queenslander and colonial style.

To visualise the transformation I have mocked up a few rough overlay images but colours were difficult to change, but you'll get the idea.

We might be here for another 10-15 years so would like roof and cladding to be solid during that time rather than constant patching and we may need to address the foundation brick wall (which is subsiding) with stumps and battens.

Appreciate opinions about making a drastic change to cladding and roof please, is it worth the effort or too risk? It's hard to escape the harsh red roof so the idea is to soften the street appeal but keep in character with neighbourhood.

Would replacing tiled roof with a Colourbond roof trigger new roofing tie-down and bracing standards, meaning a lot of extra structural work? (in Brisbane QLD)

All feedback appreciated.

Thanks

Darren.
