Been around for years. A design classic. Not my personal favourite but they look quite good in this setting. Eames DSR chairs for example weren't popular about 7 years ago but were still around and looked great. Now theres so many because of the reproduction's that they're falling out of popularity (dated?) by the masses..... The genuine item will always be a good product and never really date as such. If you love them and know you will always love them then who care's if they're 'dated' by the masses.
