What colour should I paint the wall where my peacock will hang?
Comments (38)Lovely print. I had a peacock feather print and I had a colour called glacier Grey behind. Think it was Wattyl . Again like your other walls it is a greenish grey but darker. I also had my prints on a charcoal wall..loved that too. As you said the picture ties in with the chairs and now it's not necessary to add more matching colours. I'd buy a couple of sample pots and paint large pieces of cardboard. With the other walls I would consider painting them in whisper white (Dulux) a very universal colour that ties in nicely with all colours....See MoreI need assistance to complete this room pls!
Comments (180)Yes, all the Houzzers have been extraordinarily helpful. I am sure in the end, it will be a beautiful room. With regards to the change of sofa style, I was unsure of my ability to keep the white leather clean - particularly the stitching. By finally going with the "Julio" it is slightly more comfy sofa than the "Ariel". It has a higher back and I feel the "granite" colour will give me less hassles. In reality, the "granite" colour has slight yellow/creme undertones which tie back better with the curtains but this doesn't really show up in pictures. Golly, I hope I am on the right track. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions. Keep them coming please...See Morestyling and chair advice needed!
Comments (8)Hello, I think you need to have some paler furniture in there, to contrast nicely with your darker furniture and make the space feel larger and lighter, and tie the dining area in with the lighter lounge. I'd recommend the following chairs: The Nico (two for $429). The Edel (two for $299). The Zola (two for $389). As for your buffet, this is the perfect place to introduce some colour, through a beautiful vase, a lovely piece of artwork and perhaps some family pictures. Good luck decorating- it's a wonderful place with heaps of potential :)...See MoreHelp me choose the right dining chairs
Comments (46)Melissa, if you have children forget any sheepskin throws over the bench. wood metal and vinyls are the easiest to clean/maintain. Do you have any colour?- yellow or orange would look great against the blue rug and would look good with you material piecs.....See MoreKK1000
