I did repaint mine once using the techniques suggested above and the tub surround was in the same condition as yours. It lasted more than 10yrs. Make sure you sand the rust right back if you can. Also suggest you tape newspaper around the entire area (floor, walls, doorway, stainless top etc) as the overspray from the paint will travel and make a mess.

They look great in that photo, Northstar! Works beautifully. Will be fine over your bench. Didn't realise how large your p really space will be. Wow! No, if you replace pendants that have staggered drops, the fittings are completely removed and new pendant fittings are installed in their place. The electrician just shortens the drops without cutting them & the extra lenth is hidden away in ceiling.

Agree with Kate. Keep it at 1000mm. You can use the bench top in front of sink for more serving space. I am 164cm and struggle to reach other side of our bench which is 950mm. You can also purchase a sink cover, which will give more usable space as well.

I'm having Buyer's Remorse, having researched sinks...bought a Buzrazzo sink as it was 1.2mm (18 gauge) stainless steel & appears quite strong. Insulated underneath, for heat/strength. But I see now it's warranty is 7 years. So... I'm panicking. Does anyone have one & how as it stood up to wear and tear? I'm not expecting it to not get scratched- it's a SS sink-unless you never use it, it's gonna scratch...but I'm just freaking now...
