You can either introduce an accent colour taking inspiration from your furnishings, artwork or even kitchen appliances. Or, opt to not introduce colour at all, choosing a stafford low iron glass splash back that is colour matched to your wall colour, and have one real splash back at all! If it were mine, I would like to maintain the moody-ness of a dark timber kitchen and black granite, and continue to granite up the wall to create a wet hub enclosing all my workspace with the same surface material. Install lighting to the underside of the overhead wall cabinets, and this by night will ooze sophistication.

I am making very similar decisions and am thinking of going for a monochrome graphic pattern like the examples you have. No doubt it will date, like everything does, but at least I will be able to change the look of the kichen by changing the colour of less permanent accessories. Hi ucheokeke1 colour matching to the tile should be relatively simple as already explained. However even if you find the right paint colour, unless you ask for optically clear glass (known as Starphire glass in Australia) your colour will be skewed by the natural green skew of ordinary glass. If you can source a coloured glass splashback that's close to your chosen colour from a standard range you will be OK with normal glass. If there is nothing similar in a standard range, the only way to ensure true colour representation is to pay the extra for optically clear glass. I hope this makes sense.

Hi nice size kitchen, horizontal lines in your kitchen will make already long kitchen look a bit longer. looking at the pics of your kitchen it looks like u have a lot of horizontal line i would install the tiles lines vertically to bring the balance back. Number of lines will depend on the zones and the kitchen enterance along with dining furniture or vertical wall lights in the room. u may need to take a pic from the enterance of kitchen and draw a few details on the pics then work out the lines. Vertical lines are easy to over do so be careful. good luck
