Hi. If you have an existing drain via your shower, this can be converted to take care of a bath shower combination, even if you also need it to be a wet floor drain. A bath waste is normally a 40mm pipe, so if your existing pipe is a 32, you might need to do some conversion

While both are great options we agree with Tribbletrouble44152k7 Trek - definitely depends on your space. We personally like swing or pivot doors - easier to clean, space efficient and easy to assemble if you are doing it DIY. Alternatively you could use a glass screen and do away with the door all together if that's possible? MB Design & Drafting, I have to contradict your comment about having only 1 floor waste, we have a large double shower with only 1 floor waste, ours is in the centre of our double shower, our tiles are black and by the time we get out of the shower the water on our shower floor is gone, I always clean the tiles and glass before leaving the shower, I leave the fan on while we dry and by the time we are dried our shower floor is almost dry, we have no trouble at all with only 1 floor waste.. Barbara, we have the same problem, which is not a problem at all, my husband likes his shower much hotter than me but we have our showers turned on to suit each other, we have a small seat at each end to sit on while we wash our hair and feet and each others backs.

My walk in was well over a metre deep and width was a couple of metres to the wall. The glass screen was a metre and a bit so there was no splashing into the room. The shower came off the end wall same as the pic however it was one of those variable height showers on a rod, I have no doubt the shower in the pic will be splashing into the room which would drive me nuts. Mine looked great, so open, neat, big, except the floor hadn't been layed properly so instead of the water going toward the drain under the shower head it went all over the bathroom, nearly 3 metres out right down to the loo creating a massive puddle in front of the vanity as well. Getting it sorted with the builder was nightmare I eventually gave up and ended up having a low barrier installed from glass to wall. It still looked fine and stopped the problem but one really has to ensure the floor angle is done properly before embarking on the walk-in shower exercise.
