You could add a chaise lounge or a comfy chair and table for a reading nook or an office area if you need one, a computer area but whatever you do don't over clutter it keep it sleek and sexy and or a comfy chair as suggested with a little side table for reading, I also like the idea of a place to put coats, shoes etc if you must enclose it. Maybe even a small wine bar? with a couple of stools. Hi Sarah, I'd recommend you see if the showroom has larger samples or full size slabs to view them in. Each style will have a different grain, and the overall colour may not be exactly accurate with what is shown in photos on the website; you should ensure that whichever you select will work well with any other whites or off white finishes in the area by taking some samples with you to match up. Stone is very costly so it pays to ensure you're 110% happy with your decision. I've never heard of this stone manufacturer & had to google it - noticed it's from the US & Zenstone is the Melbourne supplier. Best of Luck with your project.

There is no way I would put anything that in any way resembles a bookcase there . I love the pots , and I'd incorporate them , but you only have to look and see ( or maybe see the irony ) -- great big picture windows looking at the wonderful greenery , and not a plant to be seen inside . Just me , I'd do a mix of styles and cultures -- those pots , some colourful glazed terracotta ones in brighter earthtones , green leafy plants , a bamboo , a fat cactus , a tall cactus in the pots , some river rocks and some pebbles ( in a frame if you have kids ) -- almost a fusion mixed garden of contemplation . $1000 max for a subtle or bold as you wish feature . . . . . . . . . .
