Comments (2)I suggest bridging the tonal gap between the black and white plus camel with a grey sheer. Actually not a sheer, no sheen perhaps a flocked cotton or linen, something with a fibre, I would consider stitching a black edge seam down the inside reveal of the sheer so they have some interest and relate to your soft furnishings. A with a bookcase, a bedroom ISA great place for one, infact I don't think there's any room that doesn't benefit from some form of bookcase, Layer your timber accents with frames or lamp bases, even book ends in the case, so there is. I just moved into a new house, and what used to be my bedroom suite (dresser, tallboy, bed and night tables) is now split between three rooms, a dining room sideboard has become a dresser, and what used to be a bookcase in the study in the previous house has resumed duty as a buffet and hutch in the new dining area. Comments (12)It's easier to comment on suitable chair fabric after seeing the exact style of the other furniture items you decide to buy Ange, as there are so many styles of 'industrial' to choose from. If you like the fabric on your sofa cushions, you could always try to find some old chair/s at auction or Op-shop and have them re-covered in a similar material. That may be relatively cheaper than buying new. You may find your Kilim rugs at an auction too....See Morekerriept
