Are the windows available in Woodland grey or a grey colour close to Woodland grey? I'd still frame them in white. You do see through black but for my posts and deck railings I went Woodland grey instead of black which I find too heavy looking now. Against the foliage in my backyard the Woodland grey really "disappears". My patio roof is also Surf mist.

We find fully frameless glass fencing the most popular choice. However it is more expensive than aluminium. We rarely use semi-frameless - generally only if the additional strength of posts is required or the client specifically likes it or is matching existing pool fencing. As far as separation from the house - every pool fence in Australia must comply with the regulations for safety. So there is no doubt it will physically separate the pool from house. It looks like you have a large garden area surrounding the pool area. Frameless glass will ensure you can see all of your beautiful garden as well as the pool area. I have a highset queenslander with timber cladding, and aluminium windows and doors. We are going to paint the cladding a light grey and have white balustrades on the wraparound deck. My question is, what do I do about the buff coloured window and door frames? Do I spray them the same grey as the cladding or white? There is no framing trim around them. The front double doors have been painted deluxe domino.
