Splashback help pls.
Comments (8)How exciting for you Stacey! I was going to suggest white or marble patterned tiles in an interesting layout design on the splashback. To simplify it, I'd use the same tile over the entire splashback. Tiles are by far cheaper than glass or mirror and so much more interesting. Going for a ceramic over marble tiles is cheaper again. Cheap may not need to be boring, also consider the grout colour, as it can really change the look and feel also. Good luck!...See MoreNeed help with living area pls
Comments (10)Hi Tace Depending on Budget there is a great new product on the market only released last month, called 'The Frame' TV from SAMSUNG. Wall mountable the TV becomes a piece of art when switched off. Depending on budget you're looking at $3300 starting price for 55inch with various frame options available. Would look awesome over the fireplace and avoids the TV dominating the space. Video attached Pick which one you think the TV is? The TV has been put up with other conventional frames and artwork, can't tell the difference! Thanks Paul...See MoreWhich white? What to paint trims/celings/doors. PLS HELP!
Comments (1)I’d suggest using pieces of plaster, painted in your chosen colours, to see what the colours look like in different rooms and at different times of the day. We were always going for Natural White which ended up having a pink tinge in certain light in our home. Our large back area is east facing (8m of glass stacking doors) with two south facing windows and two large skylights for northern light. Our colour consultant suggested Dulux Snowy Mountains Qtr strength and it is great for our home. Not stark (no blue/grey tinge) but definitely not too warm. We went all the same colour - walls, trims, ceilings - just in different finishes. Modern home with squareset ceilings. White is so hard. Good luck with your choice!...See MoreHelp - Living and Dining Room - Recommendations pls
