Need help with which TAP looks nicer out of these.....................
Comments (30)Just looking at them on their own (not in the context of the bath/basin) I really like the one with the black on it - 2nd... but I think you're right to try and match the bath and basin taps. That bath and matching basin are absolutely divine! Amazing shapes! And judging by the pic and your other queries, you also have a fabulous sense of styling and shouldn't need anyone else's opinions...? (imho)...See MoreAsymmetrical Wall Mounted Taps - Best Placement
Comments (1)the problem with this combination is that unless the tap is located extra high there is difficulty doing normal handbasin things like using a glass, or scooping water to wash your face...we have a similar tap over a drop in basin ...the tap allows the water to fall into the centre of the basin but the tap is too long and too low for comfort ... raising the tap would interfere with the wall mirrors so tap will be changed to a tall counter mounted tap for easier use and we never considered a raised handbasin for all the same reasons and imo they make any but super sized vanities look so cluttered...See MoreIs my vessel basin mixer too short?
Comments (6)I have just measured mine. And the spout is 50mm above the top of vessel. Your vessel is 150mm deep, so the spout is 208mm above the bottom of vessel. This is plenty of room for fall of the water. I would recommend a swivel basin mixer, which allows the spout to be swivelled out of the way. This is an advantage when washing your face. No bumping the spout with your eyes closed....See MoreBathroom Layout - add washing machine and remove bath
Comments (15)that's a relief i thought you meant two sinks for the washing machine and a third for hands! my suggestions includes a separate laundry cupboard with either a drop in skinny tub with underbench washer or stacked washer and dryer with skinny tub and bifold door, a double walk in shower with grab rails and low down taps that can be reached from outside with an overhead and handheld shower for showering while seated...rotate and raise the toilet higher for a little more comfort and privacy and add a grab rail with integral toilet roll holder, wall hung vanity for easy access for extra towels, toilet paper and toiletries and so slippers, floor mats, waste bins and scales etc can be under the vanity out of the way when necessary, mirror doored wall cabinets and an extra shelf could be extended across over the top of the vanity and toilet for more counter area and there's just enough room for a small shower chair (used inside and out of the shower and much better and cheaper than fixed shower seat), several easy access locations for towels and don't forget clothes hooks on the back of the door...See More- 7 years ago
