Good luck with your bar stool selection. I completely agree with your choice to buy from a shop rather than online. I've included a photo of 2 white stools I purchased (if they suit the look you're after). A word of warning - after seeing them in someone's kitchen photo from Houzz, I bought them online. Both stools arrived badly packaged with dents & scratches on the wooden backs & both had faulty gas cylinders so seats wouldn't go up. A refund was granted months later after PayPal investigated but I had to pay to return them (cheapest freight was twice what the stools cost). Now I will always buy from a shop!

Dreamer I don’t have dining chairs just yet. Just a black dining table so far. I’m pretty sold on the black rattan stools so I think i’ll go with those. Thanks for the help everyone! 🙂

First time builder, your home is looking fantastic. Well done to you and the builder. In my opinion, I would have black bar stools. Wood, not metal. Low or no back, not a high back. Your staircase is beautiful, so I would use that as a guide. Wood, not metal. But black wood, not a stained timber, it would clash with your wonderful floors. Also, The black will compliment your fittings in the kitchen.
