I LOVE these trees (having originally come from South Africa) and would love love love to plant one in my succulent garden on the short side of my pool but I only have 1.2m to the coping. PLEASE TELL ME I CAN??

Aloe trees can have somewhat invasive roots... Technically, it should not be planted in between buildings or in spots where its roots will be constrained, as its trunk and roots need to expand and spread. So although you are 1.2 m from your pool, the main issue is that your pool is fiberglass. So there is concern that the roots could damage the pool. If you are
