Best option for steps up steep driveway?
Comments (29)Jacey, nice to see you are still here, many aren't after this length of time. I'm having a little chuckle here as when I originally read your post, my first thought was "move house", but I didn't want to sound so rude as to say so. It reminded me of my first house which was at the flat end of the street but the other end was very much "mountain goat territory" and the driveways reminded me of yours. After living in the homes for years, some spent mega amounts removing rock and excavating to create a garage more at road level and from there the stairs started zig-zagging to the front entry, new front entries were even created at a lower level, but the stairs still continued inside the house, there was just no escaping the climb. I wondered how you even got your wheelie bins up and down the drive. Hope you are enjoying your new home, long term I think you made a very wise decision....See MoreHow to prepare a house for sale?
Comments (43)HI Sophie. Im a property stylists and the company you are asking about looks very professional from their website. Lovely furniture and the styling looks very professional. I do not know of them but simply giving them a call or email is a great start and ask some questions like the style they think suits best in your area. In regards to prices Melbourne is one of the cheapest states to have furnished with QLD and NSW coming in at the most expensive. As a really rough guide a 2 bed starts at $2400, 3 bed starts at $3000, 4 bed starts at $4000 and so on with each additional living area styled at $800 and out door is usually complimentary. Hopefully this helps you...See MoreGarage options
Comments (6)an extra 2 m is so much more useful than a "standard" double or single garage...use a tape measure and find out the exact size of any exiting garage you use and make the decision based on the actual measurements not on ambiguous jargon that doesn't relate to how you will use the space..personally i would not consider a "double" that was less than 7m x 7m but many people are happy with 6m x 6m but to answer your question unless you plan to store 3 cars i would prefer one 2m wider garage because it's really nice to be able to open the car door without banging into the walls of the garage...See MoreSHARE your best garage sale experience!
Comments (6)gee I've had so many great buys it would be hard to pick just one. Over the years Ive found great: art, antiques, collectables and practical everyday round the house items. However, people can't assume they will find a bargain every time they go to a garage sale. I am an addict and go just about every weekend...See MoreDialwyn
