We had a white kitchen (I know it's not white in the photo- that's another polytec story that ended up in a warranty claim replacement kitchen- hence the change in colour now) and I decided to go with mirror tiles though grout always an issue however so unnoticeable with the mirrored tiles easy to clean too. Each tile is a different mirror effect so doesn't show any grease spots at all. I love my choice- a little pricier but worth it I say!

Mirror splash backs would look lovely in a show home. Mirrors are only stunning when there sparkling clean. They would annoy me if they were constantly needing to be cleaned. I think you would be creating an on going chore for yourself, like Karen Mc, they would drive me crazy. Hi Jodie, as someone already have mentioned above, you can choose from Stainless steel, Glass, Laminex "Metaline" (there is a reflective finish in this range)...Depending on the splashback size you have in your kitchen, these materials come in large-sized panels which means no joints and therefore an easy care...Hope this gives you some options to look at

Under Australian Consumer Law there are regulations for products to be fit for purpose. "Under the Australian Consumer Law, certain consumer guarantees apply automatically, including that a product must be reasonably fit for any purpose specified by the customer and agreed by the seller. If a product is not fit for a specified purpose, the consumer is entitled to a remedy. The type of remedy depends on whether the problem is major or minor."
