I think using your niches to display sculptures or art would be brilliant, you might need to change the light above to be a directional spot. Alternatively change the spot to a run of LED's (you can get colour changer ones) get a carpenter to create a 'new' back, 75mm smaller all around in the niches that 'floats' (split battens) and you could paint the new backs a mid murky blue (similar to what you would see in the sea on a calm cloudy day) commission some art (multy media, glass & or metal) to float equidistant in the space. @jactheshe, it would be very hard to imagine. Even digital photos of the colours together can look so different. And depending on how your house is situated & how the light plays on it, that changes things again. I was looking at a picture online of a house using woodland grey with colorbond dune. The dune colour looked completely different to the colour card on the charts. If you have some large lightweight boards around, I suggest painting them out with colours you're considering. Or getting a large sheet of foam core from office supplies or sign companies and using that. It would be light enough to attach temporarily on the facade & give a better idea of which colour works. That way the angle how the light hits the colour is accurate.

Hi moscato65 Technically, wainscoting is only on the lower section of a wall. What you have pictured is more like panelling effect using beading. Lovely look. Just be cautious of the proportion re: optical illusion this may cause. Will it make your feature wall look smaller? Just on the flat wall, I think. Don't go around the corner as you will lose the 'feature' idea. Perhaps try the idea out using Washi tape (it comes off cleanly) on the wall, in the configuration you imagine. That will give you something to view, before you make a move.

Is this waterline tile the "Luna" tile that you are thinking of? It is more a creamy beige colour? Looks good to me. I have clients who used a pure white pool tile, which is much lighter and brighter than your Luna and the pool looks fantastic and a beautiful blue, so I would not have any concerns with using Luna as a waterline tile.
