I like your idea Calmond, two single chairs sounds like a better idea as the 2 seater couch takes up a lot of space, and a bigger rug. The only problem is that opposite the 2 seater couch your idea, I have a sliding door and will not be able to move the TV there. Is it possible to have the TV on a wall and just turn it towards the living area if we want to watch TV. Or should it be in the living area.? I also want the TV room as far as possible from our bedroom. Will move the piano and see how it looks. Thanks for your input!

Hi Aleta1, youre getting down to the nitty gritty of Interior Design now. Choosing the perfect colour involves addressing many issues...size of your windows, orientation of the house, height of ceilings, size of rooms, purpose for room to name a few. If you have the time I recommend getting a sample pot of full and half strength and try it in a couple of corners of each room. That way you can see how the colour looks at different angles. Lovely area! You have done a great job! Just a thought i would have put decking to one side and only had one side with stone and plants as putting the decking in the middle looks like a runway. Just my opinion. Black stone would look great instead of white. And painting the back bricks would have been better with a darker colour to make timber "pop" like the colour of your fence or black like the posts. Loving your ideas and transformation is fantastic!

Thank you everyone, lots of shopping, many shops seen. I have pulled this look together. I am not sure about the heavy textured throw. Just walked in with it, thinking a white pot with a plant in the corner by the window. I wanted to find the beige colour in the blue cushion, a much darker colour than the plain one l found to the left of it. Take care everyone. Sue
