Need Advice on My Living Room's Paint Colour
Comments (10)I just noticed you posted a duplicate dilemma. After viewing photos of your home, I think the paint colors I suggested are Perfect-AND-DEFINITELY paint the ceiling one of the 2 colors mentioned. When selecting a rug, consider one with texture, subtle pattern, and at least a shade or 2 darker than the floor. Best of Luck!...See MoreNeed help with my tv room
Comments (12)1/ get Roman blinds for the windows installed onto the ceiling.. 2/ change the carpet to floor boards and a nice light rug.. 3/ repaint the room ..looks quite dark and creamy there 4/ get rid of the clutter by getting a built in unit for TV and do away with your tables and coverings 5/ keep the chest/trunk as a coffee table 6/ rearrange your lounge suite into an L shape.. 7/ if you really want to get rid of the lounge suite make it uncomfortable to sit on..I'd put slits into it accidentally lol the dogs fault? lol he'll come around or I'd pretend someone else needed it more than you so gave them away..lol that's how I get to buy new stuff for the apartment ..I slowly stow them to the beach house then from beach house they get given away lol...See MoreDesign ideas for study room
Comments (10)Get a cabinet maker to custom build a work station across the entire width of that blank wall. As it is on full show I would recommend incorporating mainly cupboards and drawers so you can hide stuff away. Consider using a coloured polyurethane and nice stone bench top and cabinetry hardware, as it will be the first thing guests see when entering your home. This then allows for space to be completely open without doors or hinges in the way. The only negative is that they do take up extra space when retracted back into sides of cabinet. Having a study desk separate from the bedroom, in my experience is a good idea. The bedroom is for the children to relax and chill, but the study desk is for work and concentration. And when they have finished study for the day, the doors can be closed without having to pack books away....See MoreWren
