Get in touch with your local landcare group and council/native nursery as they will be able to help with suggesting plants suitable for your area and techniques to make it easier. Generally it's lots of tubestock, as this is not as expensive as more established plants, as well as being more successful to establish with minimal inputs. Also check out what you can get in regards to grants for revegetation. Good luck!
