Window treatments/panel suggestions
Comments (4)Those are actually the same color. There is enough light coming through the windows. I feel like it will make my living room and dining area elegant. The blinds stay but it lacks style. Thank you so much!...See MoreSuggestions for a window treatment for this please...
Comments (25)One of the biggest issues with shutters is the dusk and if you employ cedar they will fade unevenly in the sun. I think the best resolution lies in the glass. This will give you your privacy as well as low maintenance with the view unencumbered. There are glazing solutions that can be "switched on" to obscure for privacy. This may give you the best of both worlds. Fantastic View what a great place for a bath......See MoreSliding door window treatment in kitchen
Comments (12)I agree that you need a blind like a roller or roman that goes up and out of kitty's way. Nobody has yet addressed your query about panel glides: Panel glides work best on large doors where there is room to stack the panels when opened. you will lose at least one third of your left glass door panel if you use panel glides and they also project into the room quite a bit....See MoreWindow Treatment Query
Comments (12)I have done extensive research because I have same problem as yours. For the bedroom get double roller blind one is sunscreen you can see out during the day but no privacy at night and the other blind is either block out or light filtering. As far as sunscreen goes the darker the colour the better the view outside, so you can go black , but I would not have the second blind in the same colour because once it's down at night you have this huge black window in front of you, not that nice. You would be better of matching your block out blind to you wall or other furniture or bedding in the room. Instead of roller blind you can have Roman blind . I have gone with Roman's because they are fixed at the cornice level and a bit wider then the window so it looks softer and yes I used textured fabric. If your windows are big it's worth investing in motorised blind but only for the one that will be going up and down all the time not sunscreen. It's about $700 per motor. ( I should be a blind consultant lol)....See MoreJE C
