I do spend a lot more time looking at others creations the actually doing something myself! One of the traps of everything shared online. I do love seeing the creations that didn't go as planned too! They are a dark grey in a mat finish in a laminate rather than a two pack. My kitchen guy thought that the two pack is more easily chipped and more expensive. Heres a close up of the tile. We had trouble getting the exact tile for our stairs but there are lots like this out there. The splashback is a porcelain marble look tile. 90 X 60. Which is a good size for a splashback . Theres less grout to clean with the look of marble. im very happy with it

You can spend thousands on buying a brand new one from a department store, or a few hundred for a second-hand one in good condition. They are an Australian classic, have been produced for decades using quiality materials, and just last and last. They are much better made than any of the cliched Eames replicas, and unlike a replica will last a lifetime. However you will need to buy more than one to avoid household fights about who gets the comfy chair.
