Lovely home :) You will get flow through the home by keeping the colours in each room roughly the same. You can do this by adding a touch of green in your family room - even with just a plant (freestanding or something on the coffee table). Could also have some sort of wall art between the window and the door that coordinates with the colours in the room (navy, white/cream, natural). Also changing some of your cushions on the navy lounge for some with texture will add variety and interest. A large picture above the plaid chairs would definitely work - but to tie in the green rug (as you dont want to change it) make sure the picture you choose has an element of the green colour in it. Also could add a plant in this area too (real or artifical).

I love your kitchen and your clock! I would center the clock and move the picture to another wall. No other suggestions...

I would do a colorful runner in front of the fridge, some Le Crueset accessories on the island (colorful salt and pepper shakers, spoon rest or pitcher) on the island and then do a few pillows and accessories in the surrounding rooms in the same color.

You have good taste, you just need to add some interesting things in the spaces to capture the eye. Right now everything runs together a bit.

The clock isn't bad but I think the space deserves something that isn't so generic. Look for something that resonates with your family. For example, a large map of your favorite place or if someone special in your family is an eye Dr, a large eye chart would be fun. Brainstorm with your family.

jlsch, that photo is titled "John Muir Tribute Tree" and was found in a Country Living article. If you research the print, it looks very different upon closer inspection and is quite pricey. Here it is from the original creators...

Wow, your kitchen is just amazing, I'm swooning over that brick accent wall, with the herringbone! I like the moss green velvet pillow that Jan suggested, would center the clock and call it a day.

I've been eyeing these myself, and think they would look nice on your Navy couch in the living room. Cheap enough to swap out seasonally.

Livingroom already coordinates pretty well, but keep an eye out for art with some green in it when you look to decorate the wall(s) behind the couch.

Lovely remodel! Love the brick backsplash which brings warmth to the space with little bit of rustic look. My suggestion would be to bring that warm color to the living room by adding reddish/brown accents. It can be flowers, pillows, art work....

Looking at a few pictures for above the plaid chairs. What about this one - I"m kind of a sucker for barn pictures. Just a little nervous about the green in the pic, but thinking the window panes in the pic would compliment the window pane fabric in the chairs. I'm thinking when you look at the picture it makes you happy. Thoughts?

What a great remodel. Here are a few ideas to help coordinate your spaces from our designs. As you can see below we have a variety of items that have green in them that might work. You could put a selection of four botanical prints on the wall behind the chairs and add some green pillows. Then in the kitchen you could add green art, green vases, a green kettle, or green pottery.

I like your green rugs keep them if you like them. put a green pattern on your stools in the kitchen, add pillows to your chairs to incorporate green/white and the large print or series of prints works too. I like the botanicals another posted listed above.

think of this as a work in progress, you don't have to "finish" it. I'm 5 years in my home and although it's done, I'm always tweaking. good luck

Before I forget again, Janette, could you tell me where you got the windowpane chairs? I really love the style and the pattern.

I think the painting your daughter doesn't care for would work, especially if you like folk art; although, you may have to listen to her make fun of it. : ) The other one might have a little too much green in my opinion. Botanicals would look great, too.

Another thing you could add to the kitchen would be a handmade piece, like a fruit bowl that has a modern rustic feel.

Do you need the additional seating in your kitchen? I'd remove the casual seating and add a console table or buffet with a picture or mirror above.

I like the seating. Good place to sit with a friend and a glass of wine.

Can your bar seats be reupholstered in the same window pane fabric as the two gray chairs? Set a green piece of pottery on the island to bring in the rug color.
