I am renovating a 1935 Wooden cottage I need all new windows. I intensely dislike aluminium windows. I am hoping I can have my mind changed due to the cost of cedar. Thanks in advance Fran
Good windows aren’t cheap and if you get get cold winters n hot summers I’d go double glaze aluminium or pvc. You can also get wooden windows which aren’t cedar - try dowell- aus made
Hello Fran. The windows in this house are actually all timber. The existing windows were all timber and the new windows were custom made to match the existing. I have not found a Aluminium or PVC supplier who can replicate the look of timber. Hope that helps!
