Need help with my tv room
Comments (12)1/ get Roman blinds for the windows installed onto the ceiling.. 2/ change the carpet to floor boards and a nice light rug.. 3/ repaint the room ..looks quite dark and creamy there 4/ get rid of the clutter by getting a built in unit for TV and do away with your tables and coverings 5/ keep the chest/trunk as a coffee table 6/ rearrange your lounge suite into an L shape.. 7/ if you really want to get rid of the lounge suite make it uncomfortable to sit on..I'd put slits into it accidentally lol the dogs fault? lol he'll come around or I'd pretend someone else needed it more than you so gave them away..lol that's how I get to buy new stuff for the apartment ..I slowly stow them to the beach house then from beach house they get given away lol...See MoreHow should I arrange my kitchen/living/dining space?
Comments (13)you need a large rug underneath your living room furniture to sit ot all on there - not half on / half on. to connect the dining to the kitchen i wouid add a pendant over the kitchen bench with a smaller matching one over the dining table - that will connect the spaces. Definitely a console or buffet with a mirror above it on the wall with whee your dining table is situated. the mirror will reflect the mood lighting of the pendant back into the mirror. Use another rug in a coordinating color - not the same ( as your living) to them tie all the spaces together....See MoreCan you help me to arrange my furniture please.
Comments (4)Measure all your furniture and make actual size templates with pieces of paper. Then move the templates around the rooms and see what works best. This is a lot easier that lifting and moving furniture. If you want the dining in the lounge because that works for you then do that. Don’t be dictated to what a room is used for because that is the name of it on a plan....See MoreFamily Room Furniture Ideas!
Comments (9)Well that’s a new name for styling, so I googled, and yes it did appear. If you aren’t having a tv, then there are no restrictions. Place furniture away from the walls in a square conversation space. As per attached photo. Ignore fire place. Maybe just have a single accent chair in front of fire for sitting quietly. I would check first whether the fire can be used, or if it needs cleaning. Google your style and lots of photos come up, which will give you ideas. Also look at Modern Boho, which is the term I have used before for the same style....See Moreannb1997
