Exterior Paint Help Please.

We are building shortly, in both of these picks our house will be situated on the right hand side. So we have this Titan Shed ( I have been told the colours are Dune and Jasper guttering). Must have faded heaps. And beyond the Shed is a Granny Flat, mostly clad in some sort of Cedar / or Board colour.
Our house ( Linea boards) will be all one level from top of driveway, so by the time it gets to pool fence there is a 3 meter slope, ( parking underneath only).
So I have pretty much only picked out Surfmist for roof and guttering. Would like white trim on all posts , deck balustrades etc.
Looking for a 'griege' colour for Linea Boards. Should I try and find a toning colour to avoid painting the shed ? Fully expect to paint the Granny flat behind.

newly painted Dune is a much paler grey colour and the roller doors look more like Classic Cream ...check the Colorbond website for the older colours to find the best match for the garage and suggest you first choose the house colour that you like the best and consider repainting garage if necessary after you see what the new house colours look like next to the old ..best of luck with your new home

Have a play around on an app called Fair Dinkum Sheds... you can build a shed to your desired length, height, width & add windows, sliding doors, skylights & whirly birds :) from there, you can choose your colors for all aspects of your shed & find colour combinations that you like & will suit your special space. Hope that helps :)

Hi, I like the overall concept of the darkish grey, it suits the home. I am a colour consultant and have been working with the Dulux range for 17 years and you are on the right track with the Guild Grey. The Dulux Signature will give you a dark blue house. Another option if Simone Weil which is just a bit lighter than the Guild Grey, if you find that one too dark. Sample pots and A4 brush outs onto white cardboard are the best way to decide, because computer programs give an overall impression of the "look" but are not accurate with colour choices, you can't beat the human eye. I would match the new timber to the colour of your gutter as it is attached to the house. The merbau decking is a great colour so I wouldn't do anything else but the stain in your photo. I can't see any concrete in your photos, and I would question whether it needs to be painted? Quite often painted concrete wears and needs repainting. If you can't live with the bare concrete consider a concrete treatment and imprint pattern where the colour is mixed in with the concrete and lasts forever. I can't quite follow what you mean by 'we must keep the red roof' ? Are you not painting it , or repainting in the same colour , or would you consider a different shade ? Personally , with the White Duck , I'd go for a bolder red roof , with black or charoal gutterings , stay with the crisp white windows and veranda uprights , and the end detailing on the roof , but the window sills I'd do the same red shade as the roof , and the deck a mid grey . Oh , and also , although its cliche'd , I'd do a 1 metre tall white picket fence and double gates in the crisp white , get rid of the wire mesh haha , so everything about the house and fence looks crisp and themed , but also 'period' .

Yes, we painted our window trims using Dulux weathershield on our old house 10 years ago and they still look great, yes I would do all trims, it will look beautiful. If your budget allows a crimsafe screen door would look great and definitely do the front door . We also painted the outdoor blinds to match using same paint, goes on perfectly with a roller, changed the look completely and saved the expense of new blinds.
