Hi DesignD - if it's too be used as a potential study/office space with seating, I initially thought about putting a low level storage/open bookcase against the white wall with perhaps a TV above it (if using the space as a lounge or for presentations if used as a study/office). The study desk I thought could have a glass top and be placed in front of the grey wall so that the person sitting at the desk, is facing towards the hallway .... therefore glare from the window on the computer screen should be minimal. It would also keep the room feeling open and spacious. Then you could still potentially put a 2-3 seater sofa (think sofa bed for unexpected guests) in front of the window facing towards the tv/storage space? You could place a lovely piece of artwork on the grey wall above and behind the desk with a small lamp table in corner near the window/sofa which could do double duty for cups of tea/coffee :)

Hey DesignD - what about a built in entertainment unit/type of desk that could function as both a study/office space and TV hub if you want to use the room as a lounge?
