I live in a late 60’s place. I think it’s best described as a typical Italian place - concrete backyard / lots of tiles.
We we love the area and it is a large place, but lacks curb appeal.
There have got to be tens of 1000’s of homes out there like this - solid as a rock, but totally daggy.
Has as anyone seen one that has been done up to modernise it.
I really like the look of the Scyon panelling that seems to be in vogue currently.
I‘ll attach a picture of a house I like the vibe of - it has a mixture of black panneling and white brick. The white brick appeals to me as we have painted the back of our black white and I think it would tie in nicely if I do a bit of both.
I’ll include a before (ish) and after shot of my backyard for context.
Obviously the coloured glass panels need replacing as they date the place majorly.
Stack stone - I’m not sure if I’d keep it, or cover it.
Would appreciate any thoughts.
