Ideas for front facade

Hi all

We are in the process of planning a Reno/modernising an original early 80s double brick two story house. We are going ok with plans for the inside, but not quite sure on the front facade.

At the complete transformation end of the scale seems to be rendering/squaring arches/new bullustrades, but given size and number of arches, it’ll be a big ($$$) job. So to make sure we consider the range of different options/combinations, would appreciate any advice or thoughts on bringing the place forward a couple of decades that people a bit more experienced with us could recommend or see as different options. In particular, any pics of Reno’s done on similar places would be really handy to see before/afters.

The one thing we struggle with is that for partial covering/painting options, the brick itself scream 80s - Browny/red and fairly porous. So we thought it might be a little strange with some of the original brick still showing (ie: we felt had to be “all or nothing” on covering) - although we aren’t experts and hence reason being here!

Cheers and thanks for any help!
