Looks wow but where’s everything from shave cabinet stored now?

I kind of like it, kind of love it! Love the black, but the tap over the bath is kind of flimsy looking; couple of good yanks by a boisterous splashing toddler could cause a bit of havoc, let alone the sharp edges on the shelf along the bath wall, that just looks plain dangerous for adults or children. Tiling looks fantastic! Did they loose the shower? Is there ANY storage? Massive bath, great for that once every six months quite soak, inviting! But alas not really promoting water efficiency, especially if there is no shower option. Maybe there are a couple more shots that show storage and shower??

Hi all,

There is a shower and cabinet for storage behind the photographer. We didn't get any great shots of these as they had not been sealed yet however I should be getting some sneaky snaps of it from the client in the next few days. I have uploaded a plan to show you where the shower was positioned also. The room adjoining the bathroom was a walk in wardrobe and the family preferred not to clutter the bathroom with too much storage as they had ample storage in the next room, however we did add a minimal white wall hung unit just to be sure.

When it came to the sharp edges and the safety in regards to children, this didn't factor in for this bathroom, as this was a couple in their late 50s and this was their ensuite bathroom, so this meant we could play around a little more with the aesthetic and they fell madly in love with the shelving which is imported from Italy.

All tap-wear used were part of the sustainable "water efficient" range as we wanted this to both be beautiful and efficient.

Thank you for the added input! Love it more with the clients input on not being over the top with storage; not everything needs to be stored in the bathroom, especially if you have ample space close by. It really is a lovely space and have ensuite envy!

Why a freestanding bath in such a small room? The lady in her 50’s on her knees trying to clean behind that bath!

oskuee there are actually tiles above the basin. All the walls have tiles, however they are large format matte white tiles. If you look carefully at the 2nd picture you can see the grout lines. We did this to minimise their attention and draw focus to the hexagonal feature tile whilst still using conventional wall tiling.
