Yes I must have ;-)). I planned to post earlier but had to hunt out the tin. It says to leave for 24hrs between coats but that’s dependent on weather conditions/humidity. I managed to get 2 coats on in a day if I started early enough & did the 2nd late afternoon. Yes, it came from Bunnings. There are others brands such as Feast Watson but I found this one really good. Put it this way those benchtops of mine (in bathroom & laundry) have been in place for over 5 years & they still look great. Correct, if you’re joining the board, don’t coat the end grain but make sure you coat the grain of your sink cutouts & also silicone well around the sinks. Good luck with it!

I love your tiles. I love your benchtop. I also love the slate on the floor. Perhaps not altogether though. I can see that painting the timber panels white will reduce the overall 'busy'....but I think something else has to give. The splashback is your cheapest victim!!. To reduce the 'busy' that even grout lines from tiles can bring- glass splashback (painted same as your walls) would calm it all down and let the bench and floor (and even the texture of the painted panels) be the heroes. Another option- change the benchtop for a warm-toned, less busy stone, keep the splash back as is, brown grout included. Something like Caesarstone: Creme Brulee or Buttermilk. My eye is stuck on the busy-ness and the colour-tone clash.

Hi Melissa, My bench tops will cost me $7000 too and is Ceasarstone Buttermilk but I think it's cheaper than your price based on the benches to be covered. My stone will also be only 20mm thick I have an island with seating with waterfall ends that's 3m x 1.3m Then I have another seating area that's 4m x .9m All other benches are standard 600mm and I have one which is 5m x .6m and finally 1.4 x .6m, so that's over 13mtrs of benches in length. Oh and I also have a little breakfast bar like you have which is about 3mtrs x .3m, so that's over 16mtrs in length. I'm based in the country and I'm getting my stone from Bartlett Bros in Colac Vic 3242

hang a wide mirror or artwork over the panel above the toilet..install a support screw on either side to support the hanging wire from two sides points not from the panel itself...consider a bench in the laundry with a drop in sink and more wall shelves and put the washing machine taps under the bench and relocate the power point but we need accurate dimensions of the bathroom and laundry to be more specific but mostly the bathroom needs careful choice of fixtures to feel more spacious but you should consult a plumber, waterproofer and tiler (and/or a specialist bathroom company) before making any decisions about the shower as you'll need to replace the flooring and that will help decide which style of shower would suit best..a walk in shower would look great but there may not be enough space for adequate slope for the floor so a freestanding shower stall might suit best but the window could be a problem so lots to research
