It does just look a little bland.

The wall colour matches driveway too much which there is a large area of. If the driveway was coloured or paved for example then the situation would be different.

Roller doors are ok. Front door seems ok.

Paint, paint and paint. From the roof, facias to the walls. Can you clear seal the driveway to change the colour perhaps (they go darker depending on sealer)?

Now the colour scheme... thats a bit trickier....

Therefore are you rendering the existing brick walls on the sides?

Have a look at the Wattyl/Dulux/etc. exterior colour schemes.

Malay Grey and Dune (colorbond) work well together. Use Dune on pillars.

I've used Dune in the past and it looked quite good when used as detail.

I'd probably use Shale Grey on the roof sheet and facia with Malay on gutters.

I think painting the pillars a darker colour would provide good contrast to the expanse of grey. What colour is the guttering?

Which roof colours are you considering? This will have bearing on other changes.

Thanks we took your advise and have just finished painting the roof woodland grey, and repainted the garage doors to match. Now going to change the railings and get this front garden happening!! Chose monument on the gutters, to compliment our new railings! Thank you everyone for your excellent advice, it really cleared things up.
