Comments (34)Dear Creatively Challenged , I can recommend Dulux Colour Consultants, I gave up after about 5 sample pots . At the time it cost me $150 and if I used dulux paints I could claim a full refund . That was 12 years ago . I didn’t realise at the time just how good they were , the colours are still in fashion but it’s ready for another paint job for sure. It was such a relief to have someone in who is trained and fully understands colours and fashion and what goes with what . Comments (5)I love Surfmist as a colour , but I don't think it plays well with the terracota . like you , I wouldn't keep the buttery yellow , so therefore wouldn't change the roof and paving colours ( no point changing everything ) . I'd go a light sandy tone , sort of a dark beige . There are 100's to choose , I'd let you choose , but personally I'd keep away from the ones that seemed trendy 15 years ago -- basically start your own trend , instead of updating a 40 year old trend with a 15 year old one , or a 5 year old ( light grey ) one . And as dreamer says , crisp whiten up the trim -- 'sand' and the 'orange' , with crisp white will look planned and get noticed in a good way ....See MoreSue Imray
