Comments (35)Hi Deonne If your bathroom requires the two doors, my suggestion is NOT to have a bath. Keep it very clean and neat Across the recess have either a walk-in shower with a 600mm opening OR a glass panel and door. You may consider a seat in the shower ( example on our website ) A recess ( niche ) for shower 300mm high max length Wall hung, all drawer vanity. In-wall cistern toilet suite. Mixer diverter, overhead and handheld shower. Quality tapware, with min 10-year warranty Porcelain floor tiles min 300 x 300. Tile to ceiling, ( unless home has high ceiling, if high, tile to an architrave height ) min tile size 600 x 300, Ceramic to rein in cost...See MoreMinimum length required for a walk in shower space and seat/ledge
Comments (3)Hi Kate Here is my other bathroom 1000x1000 here is a 250mm floating ledge (not sure if you can float 250mm out from a single internal brick wall but it could also be non floating) So its just too small with only 750mm standing room left? When you say "Screen should be 1200 without ledge. Ledge say 250-300 brings your shower head out further adding to dimension of spray." Are you saying then i would need 1200+250 = 1450 for a walk in shower with 250 ledge? Would need an aluminum window watertight. at this stage we already have a double hung 562mm wide aluminium window already made we intend to slot in. It would start right next to the end of the 1000mm from that corner, Its aluminium but given double hung as parts sliding up and down its probably not watertight....See MoreDeep but short baths - help please!
Comments (8)Google "Japanese baths" and there may be a deep short bath to suit but what depth do you need (test drive a bath to confirm minimum depth to suit)..some of the suppliers websites use the depth and length to narrow your search eg Reece has a 465 deep x 1500 long freestanding bath but also depends on budget...See Moreoklouise
