Hello
New to all of this, but these forums have been a great help!
I’ve been told today that the charcoal floor tiles I have chosen are actually measuring 300x602, instead of 300x600. Wouldn’t be a problem, but they are meant to join up with the white wall tiles that are measuring 600mm.
I finally have the tiles after them being recalled and then reordered from interstate somewhere due to a poor surface, so we’re already delayed, and we can’t afford further delays.
The tiler is going to try and do a dark minimal grout so it doesn’t look like they are necessarily ‘meant’ to join up - but I’m still not happy.
My builder has already provided feedback to the supplier, but they just told them that it’s all within Australian standard, a risk with that type of tile and I would have been told when I purchased them - which I absolutely was not.
I am happy to go back to them personally, but not sure if I have much of a case or what remedy to even ask for?!
