I think the room, overall, will look better with same fabric on both/all windows. It will be cohesive. I am wondering though, the style of curtain you plan to have. I say this because a four-poster beds is a statement piece and the curtain will need to be fairly simple...I'm thinking a blockout blind covered by full-height duck egg blue sheers using plenty of fabric so you get a shirred effect.

I'd like to see duck egg blue block out curtains with a white/light champagne privacy sheer on both. I would also like to see the overall effect with the curtains on the bed removed for a more airy feel and allow the chandelier to be fully appreciated.

Oh wow, Kelly, good for you!! Love the detail and colour of ceiling rose, and the chandelier. Scottevie makes a very good point about the chandelier needing to not be detracted from, but hard to tell from the angle of the photo whether that is the case or not.

IF you were to go with blue sheers, I suggest you change the lamp shades for larger ones in linen/white/champagne colour, as there would then be a bit too much of the same blue and I think there needs to be more contrast.

The bed is lovely. It does look better w/out the fabric.

Kelly, if you find you still want air circulation from a fan, you could consider an one that mounts to a wall. We considered this when we were looking at options.
