I need to select two colours for lounge as per the design. which other color will go? I am thinking to have light printed blinds on the window behind to enhance the look of the house.

Girlguides suggests good contrast colours for the room. I'd also suggest some black or charcoal used (lightly) in this room to tie in with charcoal sofa ends. This can be in black framed artwork or in the artwork itself, base of coffee table or side table, console table, or large standard lamp for same room. Not in all pieces, just one or two. The sofa will be the statement piece in the room, so it would be good to pick up the colours of it and use sparingly in other decor.

I think the textured fabric will work well in the room, esp given the smooth surface of the large leather sofa. Which type of blind are you thinking? Will they sit inside or outside of the window frame/s?

Had you considered sheers (in neutral tone/colour) over the blinds? This would add another layer of texture, upping the luxurious look and feel to the room.

Of course, this arrangement may not suit your situation, but it does look luxurious.

Blinds mounted inside window frame gives a much cleaner look, although some light will show through the narrow gaps. As this is a living room and not a bedroom, it shouldn't be an issue. The idea of having sheers as well gives you the option to have blinds up at whatever level you require yet still have some privacy and diffused light through them (they look lovely only partially closed like in example).

It appears from your drawing that the window height is full to the ceiling. Is that correct? Sheers would look great mounted just below cornice like in example.

Hello, while you guys helped me with lounge colour please advise which dining go well with the theme. I can change this dining not bought yet.

Nice tables and chairs, but I'm wondering if you might find the pedestal bases get in the way of feet, knees when sitting or relaxing at table. Also, the glass one and the white one in particular have sharp edges, and with little ones that might be problematic. I love glass-topped, but would you consider a round or oval table?

Kruti, what is your flooring for dining area...and will you have area rug beneath it? Might want to consider which type of chair leg suits the flooring surface.

It is roughly same colour as the carpet in photo, so I think it will contrast well.
