Client Brief: To create a French Provincial Style bathroom for an elegant country homestead.

As part of a major renovation for a spacious two-bedroom apartment on the lower ground level, Lurleen from I for Style was tasked with creating a new bathroom. After the existing bathroom was completely gutted and an issue with dampness was addressed and fixed, we were able to get on with the ‘really important stuff’. The porcelain floor tiles replicate the look of washed timber slats. The vanity (a converted hall table) and travertine basin both have an authentic weathered look and the antique brass tapware will also form a lovely patina over time. Oh, and the ladder – one I picked up off the side of the street!
