Since you do not have much money you will need to do some DIY. Moving the toilet, sink and washer is out of the question. Remove the shelf and make a hamper/ bookshelf for storage. Would be nice if you had doors at the top to hide everything. Should be only 16 inches at the bottom and top half should be 12 inches deep. Clean up the wall with the outlets, using tape and drywall mud were the crack with the two pieces of wood is. The window I would frame two pieces of plexiglass with a semi-transparent design and mount it on the window ledge like sliding closet doors. Between the sink and toilet same plexi but all the way to the ceiling. Hopefully out of 2x2 if there is enough room. For the sink I would make a wood cover with cut out for the faucet to get a little counter space when not using the sink. Also paint one wall a different color for effect. Take the towel off the washer and add some shelving.

There is a conCrete veneer system called xbond which given the right substrate, being a fc board, the layer is as minimal as 6mm. Can be laid over existing tile or cement, and as mentioned on a stumped house. Look up Xbond

I have tried all the suggestions Perini - didn't look purple in real life. Tile Boutique - no purple floor tiles at all. All all the lots and lots of other places = no purple floor tiles. Yes I have seen purple glass mosaics almost everywhere but I don't want small mosaics on the floor. Will also cost $55 sqm more to have grouted than a regular size floor tile. Looks like I'll just have to do boring grey as it's the trend but I have at least found one with sparkles if I can't have purple. I'm also amazed at reactions of the tile sales people - questioning, surprise, snobbery and happiness to be trying to look for something that is different. Cant' say I can't find purple, I have but with a 10 to 14 week wait to be ordered from O/S and lots of $$$ but I need to reno the bathroom by then so can't wait. Motto: If you have time and money can do anything.
