Hi elinitha, this will be the laminex impression decor 'weathered oak' which has both visual (white ingrained) and tactile texture. It will be used horizontally in a beach house. This colour I would recommend your timber feature also, as it looks natural, as in no staining or lacquered aesthetic, and as a finished product, no maintenance, fading and is more durable than a genuine timber product.

Understand that "Corian" is only one particular brand of acrylic benchtop, like as with reconstituted stone and laminate material, people often refer to it by the name of the most popular brand name, but their are always different levels and tiers of quality across an array of different companies that manufacture this type of bench top material. We regularly utilise and specific acrylic bench top material on our projects such as below. It's the most seamless and malleable bench top material from a design point of view than any of the other options available. Most of our higher end projects choose to go with it and for good reason, and we've never had an issue with it. Any defects can be relatively easily repaired, the success of which is not so much in regards to the quality of the material, but rather the contractors who work with and install it. So if anyone's had issues it can typically be pegged back to a workmanship or fitting issue, or potentially on a rare occasion if there's an actual defect with the material/product it should be replaced properly/completely rather than just patched up. www.pauldistefanodesign.com

Hi Tace, thanks so much for getting back to me and posting the photo. I think that looks pretty nice. Love the sink/taps too. Are your cabinets glossy Polyurethane? I'm now thinking of getting white a laminate benchtop to match the cabinets (rather than Caesarstone due to $$$), and going with a clear mirror splash back (behind the cooktop) and herringbone marble like yours (behind the sink). This is a 3D render of a possible design - I don't like the subway tiles though - I think the Herringbone marble splashback would look better.

Hi Jodes, the Caesarstone Pure White is a beautiful and fresh detail of any kitchen. In our experience, sometimes the bench can stain and it's difficult to remove. Saying this, it's very durable and just has to be treated with care. Avoid using any strong chemicals when cleaning the surface. To keep it clean, use warm water and a mild soap to wipe the surface daily. It will tolerate heat to an extent but it's recommended to use a hot pad or trivet. Here's an examples of what we have done with this material.
