Before deciding on a colour, don't forget to consider your kitchen cabinetry, benchtop, splashback, etc (and dining furniture)... for example, if you have a classic hamptons (farmer style) kitchen (and furniture) then don't discount a warm white for the walls... it won't look clinical as the warmth will come from the kitchen cabinetry, etc and dining furniture, e.g. But if you have a "hamptons inspired" look with a slightly more contemporary kitchen cabinetry (and furniture), then in my opinion (all nice options above but a bit too beige'ish for me) so I would suggest a light shade of a warm grey e.g. Whichever way you decide to go, try to narrow it down to 2-3 colours, get the small pot samples and paint each one on all the applicable walls as they will all look different at different angles depending on how they reflect natural daylight and the lights at night time... then you may be able to make a clearer decision. Would you consider painting those two yellow feature walls a dark grey? Charcoal grey but not black. The rooms seem to have a lot of light so I think it could work, it would be a neutral that goes with existing furnishings but without being a boring beige.

The floor tile is basically a flat colour there's no vein or pattern at all. It's the bench that has the pattern. We already have a skylight and the only other area we can put a window has an a/c unit unfortunately. The other walls have rooms on either side. It's tough. I found another tile yesterday I love. But from about 11 until 3pm, the entire island bench has this yellow hue to it. I think because no direct sunlight is hitting it?? But mornings and evenings it looks lovely! I might just have to bite the bullet and go with how nice it looks for the majority of the time (mornings and evenings). That's when we are most there anyway.

Yes, Antique White USA is a bit dated, and it used to be the go-to colour for anybody painting a rental property. Tired, cliched and your painter has probably done a hundred homes with Antique White USA. Don't listen to your tradesmen when making your selections. I would be looking at an off-white with a slight green undertone to soften the terracotta and provide more balance. Keep the green undertone subtle and understated. Get paint samples of the following Dulux neutrals to see how they work against your terracotta tiles : hog bristle, hog bristle half, buff it, buff it half.
