Need help with Mirrors!

Hi everyone,

I am renovating my ensuite and main bathroom and need some mirrors !

I can't seem to find a website in Australia or that delivers to Australia that sells reasonably priced decorative mirrors. I'm looking for thin black framed rectangle mirrors (can't be bigger then 50cm width but height is variable up to 1200 cm) and the main bathroom can be pretty big round or rectangle.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Don't go cheap on bathroom mirrors. The backs of the mirrors can be affected by steam and humidity from the moisture in the air from hot showers. This can lead to de-silvering of the mirror on the back. Mould and mildew are also a risk. Check that any mirror that you are looking at is suitable for a bathroom - some of the cheaper mirrors have masonite or cardboard backing.

The girls agree with you. They like the path shot, and I think we can have the pair of this pic blown up and framed. They also wanted a bit of family, so I found three similar shoulder on head shots, of the girls with their father, grandmother and then an old pic of their father as a child with his mother. The poses are similar, and I think I would frame them and put them along the top.

This mirror would look great, a bit pricey though. Something like this on the console either in black or copper. Could even stand it on a book for extra height. Maybe a bowl on the otherside of the console or some other ornament. A woven basket with a cushion and throw to add some color. or a metal open type basket for more industrial. A pendant light would work well too

Have you tried a Framing Shop.... You can chose the frame and have it made to the size you want, and they can provide the mirror. We have a wonderful place close by, and I get all my framing done there. They'll let you bring a sample home to try. Not all are over the top expensive, just shop around. Good luck with your search.
