kitchen tap question

I don’t know the correct terms so please forgive me (part of the reason I can’t google it haha).

We have a kitchen tap with a seperate hot water and cold water tap. Is it possible for a simpleton like myself to swap it out for a mixer tap? Or is that a job only a plumber should handle?

Please note, myself and my partner are NOT completely hopeless when it comes to handy work around the house but I know that sometimes a pro is the only option.

i guess the problem is about the number of tap holes in the sink or wall but swopping tap sets with two or three holes for a mixer tap is a job for a plumber as the separate hot and cold water needs to be fed into one outlet to suit the new mixer

sounds like you need to talk to a Plumber who specialises in commercial hotel installations but a quick Google also revealed a product called a "Kegerator" and wonder if that could be useful for your dilemma??

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has paired a brushed brass kitchen tap with a brushed gunmetal . Unfortunately I can’t have the sink under mount so I have to go with flush mount. I am looking at the ABI sink and tap. This is honestly keeping me up all night. My kitchen is polytec polar white (sheen) both cupboards and benchtops and the pantry and fridge nook is in polytec natural oak (ravine) I have attached a photo of the colours (pic inspiration) of my kitchen. Def call a plumber! I thought I can do it myself and then ended up making it even worse. Then I hired specialists for hot water in Canberra, and they finished the job very smoothly and quickly.

Plumber is the way to go. Insurance wouldn't pay out if you did it yourself and something went wrong.
