We are in the process of removing old cork tiles (literally as I type this).
We have ordered some really nice, not cheap, timber look laminate floor so we want to really make sure we prep the surface to ensure a quality finish.
My question; how smooth does the concrete subfloor need to be? We are successfully scraping the cork tiles off, removing the big chunks of glue, however there is still some residue left behind.
Is this ok or should we be aiming to remove all traces?
(The second photo shows glue residue next to where a wall stood hence no glue)
