Yes- that is a very good question!!! I've been trawling Australian suppliers for months for something different. I also need Appliance Pulls (for integrated DW and Fridge), which there is very limited choice of here. Everything here is same-same China made mass imports. I literally ordered my hardware last night from: www.knobbrands.com They do ship to Australia. At least I hope so!! I've ordered them and paid! Without knowing your budget, you could check out www.englishtapware.com.au They stock some high-end UK brands. I did go and view them in store and they are beautiful handles/knobs and fabulous quality. I couldn't justify the $500/each for appliance pulls when I need 4!. It was a real dilemma, I hate it when I see something I love and absolutely can't have it!! I tried some on-line vendors in the UK, and had no luck with them either. I can update you when my handles arrive.

I had 52 something similar to this. I could open with little finger when hand were dirty. Mine were rounder so looked like a full stop on the edge of the cabinet rather than overwhelming the line of the cabinets.

Hi Narella, most manufacturers of induction cooktops such as say Miele and Smeg make their 600mm wide units around 500mm to 505mm deep (front to back) where these fit comfortably into a 600mm deep cabinet, while still allowing for all the clearances, overhangs and venting required. You may like to check with your cabinet maker but as far as I am aware NEFF make their induction cooktops much deeper; making these 546mm deep instead of 500mm. This means that your cabinets also need to be deeper than the "normal" once all the required clearances are taken into account. I am not sure what you mean when you say this will not work with the rest of your cabinets. If you are positioning your NEFF cooktop above your underbench oven as it is shown in your original photo; then it appears that your cabinet maker has again done the right thing and has actually made all your adjacent cabinets the same depth; whereby preserving these clean modernist lines of your kitchen. In the interest of keeping your kitchen friendly to as many users as possible, may I suggest you avoid knobs of any description. Older people and those with disabilities/reduced function of the hand/arm/shoulder often struggle to grasp and pull on a knob. 'Push' closers and D (or U) shaped handles with a min of 50mm height from surface are much friendlier in this regard. We are building our retirement home and - although we are both well and dextrous at present - it is so easy (and much cheaper) to think ahead, we're discovering. Setting up the place to be comfortable for as many users as possible is also pretty satisfying. Personally I'd like brush satin steel long D handles with an elegant line. Black on black might be hard to see for some and in low light.
