Keys are on hooks by the front door, whack 'em on as I walk in, chuck down the sunnies or hat on the hall table, shoes under it, and then straight in the house. I have never lost any of those items and I always need them. Unlike my male friend who shares the house with me, the constant, "Do you know where my car keys are? or My glasses? or My wallet?" drives me nuts! Soooooo much time wasted searching for things.GAAAAH! To those who say you shouldn't leave keys at the front well, any burglar that gets in isn't likely to be using the keys to get out. I don't have deadlocks. If I did I would still keep them by the front door, in case of a fire. Easy to get out then.

The grey wall colour! This colour pallette from the deepest to the lightest has been on trend for a while now ... and it doesn't seem to matter what room of the house: it is becoming rather ho hum!! No proportion, balance, harmony with the elements in the room. Is this room a backpackers shared TV room?

Hi iggs85, I've had my Eames chairs for about 8 years and they still look as good as new (including staying nice and white). They are easy maintenance (just wipe over, I Spray n' Wipe away marks), and I prefer the carver style ones with armrests for more comfort. Its a round and generous chair to sit in, but the moulded plastic is hard, so you might need a cushion for your bum or back if sitting for long periods. I agree with John it's important to buy ones which are well made and sturdy, I haven't had any problems with the screws in mine though I tightened them all when I first got the chairs. I do notice mine still 'creak' when I sit in them, but I have not had to repair or fix any of them since I got them. The furniture place I bought mine from no longer exists but I am sure you could find decent replica models somewhere like Matt Blatt?

Hi there! I know how you feel so this is what I would do.... Choose the bed that doesn't fight with the white shutters eg unfortu ately the leather..beautiful, my choice but the criss cross padded buttoning will have the horizontal stark white shutters above .I would want that stunning leather bed be the hero piece. Personally if possible I would change shutters to black same as wall if they have to be there. Sorry I'm not answering your question however although it's not my favourite, the plainest wooden style would probably be the easiest (but not the most stylish) choice. Good luck and all the best!
